The European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) has been in force since 28 June 2025. Slovakia has transposed it into national law with the fine and enforcement structure summarised below.
€200–€6,000 (initial non-compliance); up to €20,000 (if not corrected within 1 year); up to €30,000 (persistent non-compliance or obstruction). Micro-enterprises (<10 employees, ≤€2M turnover) exempt.
